Even the tiniest air bubble anywhere in the system will compress when you activate the brakes making the pedal spongy. If you didn't keep up refilling the master cylinder as you bled it, it could have forced more air into the lines from the reservoir.

If that's not it, it's probably your master cylinder, but I doubt it if it worked okay until your caliper frose.

Bleed it again.

If you don't already have something, you might consider getting some better equipment to do it with. A simple hand operated vacuum pump would do wonders. Kits are available at most auto parts stores, sometimes Walmart, and usually Sears. They allow you to diagnose vacuum devices, bleed brakes, and diagnose various systems, and include basic diagnostic procedures. When bleeding brakes you can either use it to pull brake fluid through a caliper, or you could reverse it and force fluid back through the caliper. It sure beats using the brake pedal, because it moves a much greater volume of fluid with each stroke.
Reply:sounds like a master cylinder or booster problem
Reply:Make sure all the air is out of the brake lines and the master cylinder is topped off....
Reply:if it goes to the floor then you didnt bleed them!

no car name, no year, no model., no mileage, ABS ?

is this a 1909 Hupmobile?

bleeding today is done 3 ways today.

1- old fashion gravity ,and press pedal open valve close repeat.

2- pressure bleeding.

3- vacuum .

My I suggest going to step 1 , old fashion way.

pump the pedal 3 times, open the bleed nipple with plastic tube connected to end in to bottle.

then when pedal goes to floor, close valve and then and only then raise pedal.

repeat until you HAVE full pedal.

always start from the longest brake line to the shortest.

RR, LR, RF, LF. I would check and possibly change the spark plugs first. It also wouldn't hut to get fuel injector cleaner or even an octane booster. Sometimes it can help get crud out of the lines and injectors. You may want to check the timing on it with a timing gun. It will send out a strobe looking light and you can see where the timing is at. A manual will show you how to use one. I don't think they are too expensive. The only remaining possibility I can think of is something is messed up with your distributor. That's what controls which spark plug fires when according to the position of your cam inside the engine block itself. If this is off at all it can make a difference.
Reply:Have the timing checked, check your fuel filter. Check and make sure all your plug wires are on properly. One may have come off
Reply:What do you meen Turn off without running? I worked on a jeap once that the low voltage wire were broken, the car would start but it would jerk sometimes. It sounds like its and ignition thing, IGNITION TIMING! If the low votage wires are broken it will cause the surge and the backfire! Start the engine ang move the wires around with somthing that you wont get a shok with! If the engine stalls, surges, or back fires you found your problem! If you are haveing a problem with the HI Voltage side of the ignition you might y try looking at the engine at night wile its running and see if you see any sparking! This may sound crazy to you but you may find the problem without spending lots of your cash! (she probably wouldn't win though.) It's SHOULD she. And the answer is only if she values money more than friendship. Because I can think of nothing nastier than suing a close friend over something that small. It's reasonable to expect the B%26amp;G to offer to cover any medical bills if it's a serious injury. But if we're talking a sprained ankle - stand up, smile you silly cow, wish your friends a nice honeymoon, and watch where you're walking next time!
Reply:How obnoxious of her to do so, but nothing would surprise me.
Reply:OMG... if the bridemaid is a ******.. yes she would do any thing to spoil happines on the new couple!
Reply:no bc she knowingly walked down the aisle with the flower petals on it. so she is liable no the bride and groom. no one made her do it. it was her own free will to walk down the aisle.
Reply:No, I can't see that happening.
Reply:NO...
Reply:No, she should just learn to watch where she's going and walk carefully.
Reply:no. thats ridiculous, watch out where your going
Reply:No. It's a stupid accident that could've (but probably wouldn't) happen to anybody. I placed my daughters first 3 on and I realized that I spaced them too far apart!! HELP!!

Daisy Girl Scout Smock Petal- Can I remove them?
I hated those things! Sorry but no, you can't you will rip it, just do your best with the others ones-she only wears it for a year or so. Really, you should see some of them-HORRIBLE!
Reply:Try reheating them with an iron and see if it melts enough to pull them off.
Reply:Turn the tunic over and iron behind the petal. This will release it if you gently pull while it's still hot. I've had to do this before. Unfortunately, depending on the color petal that you're looking to remove it will leave a little bit of color residue.

If you are trying to just move one because you need room to evenly space the petals, this should work out fine. You could always just kind of "smoosh" one in between the two instead.

If you're trying to remove all of the petals so you can re-use the tunic, this might not be the best idea...just go for a new tunic. There are sew-together kits that are cheap and easy to assemble.

FYI, always sew a stitch or two into the iron-on patches...some like to fall off and the daisy petals are now sold as a full set and hard to replace just one without buying a whole new set.
Reply:Well there really isn't anything you can do sorry. I've seen daisies with their petals sort of in a line. If so, the "Lavender" in the name is more about the color than the actual flower, since lavender looks nothing like this. You could probably draw this out yourself (click the "view larger" link for better detail). It looks like the flower petal are appliqued on, but they're a fairly simple shape so it shouldn't be too difficult. The stems appear to be embroidered, and they're also nice simple straight lines. If you really want the exact shapes, print the blown up picture and then enlarge it further on a copy machine until it's the size you want.

It's an adorable quilt - I'm sure your version will be beautiful.
Reply:Click the link below and browse through all the listings.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en%26amp;lr=%26amp;q...

Happy Hunting!

TESShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10379461467664510355noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5142508222376098770.post-29452484158071018572011-11-19T17:06:00.004-08:002011-11-19T17:06:45.570-08:00Where can i find out where uhaul trucks are in petal,ms.?i am moving from petal to pearl,ms

Where can i find out where uhaul trucks are in petal,ms.?
Go here and click on "find a u-haul location": http://www.uhaul.com/

sweatingTESShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10379461467664510355noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5142508222376098770.post-43843529093909213032011-11-19T17:06:00.003-08:002011-11-19T17:06:40.163-08:00Help identify the brand of a food processor component I have. With your sense of humor, I bet your eyes sparkle in the day like the stars at night and your smile is as pretty as a rainbow after a spring shower. Even if you were to have a sad thought your tears would only be like dew on a morning rose. Your voice would most likely be like a melody that enters my ears to become a symphany of your being in my mind. You are probably as pretty as a Georgia Peach. But these are not silly, just truthful! I have an ice cream maker at home and wanted to know how to make the ice cream. Do you actually add real rose petals? When would you add them? How do you add them? The ice cream did have some pieces of rose petals, a slight floral fragrance and subtle taste. If you are familiar with ice cream making and have made rose petal ice cream before, I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice.

THANKS!

Rose Petal Ice Cream?
I am a former chef and have made it and had it in Singapore and in Paris also, if you use rose petals, make sure to get ones not sprayed with pestiside, some places have dried ones, tried a health food store, the rose syrup or rose water is from Indian stores or a Mexican shops.

With the rose petals dry them and crumble them into the custard base (I use condensed milk and a bit of light cream for richness), a bit of rosewater or syrup is a good additive, then process in the ice maker.

When you make the base, it should be a bit sweeter, keep some for after or to sprinkle on top, even a place that sells cake decorating supplies might have candied or crytalized rose petals.
Reply:Persian recipes on Allrecipes.com.
Reply:That's awesome! I had this ice cream in Paris! I made it at home afterwards. You have to use "rose water". Make regular vanilla ice cream base and then add the rose water. I had to go to a specialty shop to find a food-grade rose water. You could try finding it online... that's probably the best bet since they won't sell it in just any store.

You can also find the rose ice cream recipe online, try allrecipes.com or foodnetwork.

Good Luck!
Reply:You can get rose syrup at most Indian grocers.
