what could be wrong?
I have a Montereo Sport SUV. I just installed a new battery and everytime I let off the gas petal it cuts off.
It's just a conincidence that it's doing this after you installed a new battery. The problem your experiencing is fuel related. Plugged fuel filter or maybe just dirty injectors..try a bottle of fuel system cleaner before you take it to a shop

Reply:Did you backup the computer with a battery before removing the suv battery if you did not it is running in limp home mode you see when you take main battery of it closes down memory in the cars computer .
