Its your anti lock brake system if you have it. If not, check your rotors and also check for worn shocks and other worn suspension parts.

My Chevy which...I drove to the levy...does the same thing. The pros could find nothing wrong. I do not have the anti lock system.

The levy was dry ....dam!
Reply:Sounds like it could be warped rotors. Check or have your mechanic check your rotors and fr. bake pads.
Reply:The rotors and also it might be the shocks.
Reply:I had this problem as well on my Dodge truck, it should just be a warped rotor or in my case, my rear brake drums were warped. It felt like it was coming from the front but the rear was causing it to bounce. The bouncing was worse when i was braking from between 40 and 60mph
Reply:need a new engine
Reply:shocks or struts need replacing
Reply:get a set of shocks
Reply:ok bubba heres where to start every one is correct in the shock and rotor but also check the tires have u had to sham them on lateley? and have u curved the vech.? if so u have a flat spot on the tires or u warped a wheel i had the same problem on a 70 chevelle and it was ball joints
Reply:do like tendoghouse said
Reply:it could be one of many things a shock tower mount is busted, the shocks are bad, of even a bad tire rod costing that side to have less control.

shoe lasts components
