My car constantly jerks while my foot is on the gas petal and I starting to get on the highway it does that...

untill I take my foot off the gas . If I keep my foot on the gas while this is happening it keeps jerking and jerking worse. What could be the problem? Also every time I accerlate to pass a car it's does the same jerking. I recently got a tuneup that didn't fix it. 99 BUICK CENTURY 106,000

How long have you been ignoring the Check Engine Light?

You have a severe hesitation under load which could be caused by either the warped intake manifold chronic to your cars 3.8 V6 or blown head gaskets which are causing coolant to be dumped into the cylinders.
Reply:Might try replacing the fuel filter.
Reply:funny I have the same problem one of two things timming or cloggy fuel filters, good luck ?
Reply:You may be something as simple as changing the fuel filter and the air filter. You can also try to call a dealership and ask them what may be the problem. And they can also do a diagnostic test, that may be your best bet.
