My 1993 chrsler new yorkers brakes go all the way to the floor when i let off the petal the build back up pres
1st off, without proper diagnostics you cannot get a proper repair...with that being said...





2nd, it could be a power booster, a bad master cylinder, or something wrong with the abs system.





Best bet is to take it to a trusted technician/shop and have them do the proper diagnostics to give you a proper repair.

Reply:Its quite possible you have air in the lines.Have someone bleed your brakes and if this doesn't solve the problem,look for leaks around the brake assys.If you find no leaks,then your master cylinder is most likely bad.
Reply:Broke line (check brake fluid) or bad master cylinder needs replaced!
Reply:blead,adjust take it to a shop have them look at it....you can live through mechanical problems....brake issue are something else...have somebody look at them people dont live when they have brake issues
Reply:Check the brake fluid level, if ok then you have another problem. Get it fixed ASAP as eventually they will not work when you need them. Could be a leaking line or a bad master cylinder seal. Either way you'll need to have it checked by a mechanic. In many jurisdictions it is illegal for anyone but a certified mechanic to fix brakes and the braking system.
