Separate rose petals and spread them out on paper towels let them dry and use as you wish. I have also hung the whole rose upside down from a close hanger and let them dry and then separated them added papery oil for smell and used in direction on table for attractive center piece.

What I have done in the past with a rose itself to dry it out was I put it in a small box(not like cardboard, but glass perhaps or wood) that was tightly secured. After a few days or so, the rose became fragile and dry. So that technique would work, starve it from air.
Reply:spread them out on a screen or newspaper and let them dry.
Box when dry.
