Pink and White Cosmos are plentiful, but I once saw and smelt Black Cosmos in the UK. Petals are actually a very dark brown and not that deep pink that you sometimes find. Really had a heavenly chocolate smell!

I don't know about the Cosmos part, but there is such a flower called a chocolate plant that really does smell like chocolate. I have a few growing in my yard. When the temperature is right I can smell that plant all over the yard! It's heaven!

Reply:You can purchase this plant at bigdipper.com or dutchbulbs.com. It is hardy zone7 to zone10. In colder areas you need to dig up in the fall and store inside for winter. This plant is highly poisonous.
