so i own a 75 chevy pickup and when i press the prake down it will stay down until you put your foot underneath it and lift it up i was just wondering if a spring went out or it could be replaced with a bigger one or if a certain spot could be lubricated or ...well i dont know ...any help would be greatly appreciated thanks a ton!!!!!

Support Pin Brake Peddle Hangs on is Bad, Needs Cleaning, return Spring is Weak (Replace), Push Rod Under the Peddle could also be Bent or Out-of-Line.
Reply:usually when this happen. (happend on my 86 ranger) was i didnt have the brake lines properly bleeded and i didnt have enough pressure in the brake lines.
Reply:Sounds like your brake booster. Do you have a leak anywhere? Could have air in your lines.
