What is happening in Eastenders with Petal? Have Billy and Honey given her up for adoption or not?

What is happening in Eastenders with Petal? Have Billy and Honey given her up for adoption or not?
No not yet. Petal dies around Christmas time just as Honey was begining to love her. It is my favourite programme. Try reading inside soap for more info or ask me.

Reply:The adoption won't happen because the baby's parents in real life said she is in the show for at least a year. So, unless someone in the square fosters or adopts her she's not going anywhere.
Reply:they're putting her up for adoption but they have to find somebody who wants her first
Reply:no they havent yet, they have yet to fill papers and find her new carers.
Reply:She is still being adopted but in the meantime the Social Services are looking for a suitable foster family to care for her until an adopted family is found. I agree it's wierd how the plot was so full on and then suddenly there's no mention of them at all. Presumably Honey would still be finding it hard to cope with Petal so why it's not been shown is a mystery!! I don't think it will happen anyway - I don't think Billy will be abe to let her go and mayeb the time spent with her waiting will make Honey bond with her. I think I probably need to get a life -these people aren't even real lol!!!!
Reply:yes they are giving her up for adoption but need to wait until they find forster parents before they can give her away as they need to be fostered until they can find a suitable couple to adopt her
