What is a good bicycle for a boy who just turned 3?

I have read some reviews on a few of them and they were kind of negative. Some say that the bicycle was too heavy for the kid to petal. Does anyone have any suggestions on a 12" bicycle that has worked well for your child?

i got my daughter one from kmart for her 3rd birthday and it has training wheels on it and she doesn't find it hard to ride at all. At first she had to learn how to use it but once they get the hang of it there's no stopping them. except like yesterday when she fell off and i had to fix the scraped knees and hands but she was fine she had a helmet on lol good luckxxx
Reply:my son got a 12" raleigh fuzzy for his 3rd birthday. he'll happily ride it for over 3 miles, refusing any offer of a push. he's 4 now and we've had to put the seat up a bit. he still loves it though.
Reply:One that is very low to the ground , with training wheels, and that has a close toghether handle bar.
