If I place rose petals on a bed or carpet will they bleed?

I am wanting to decorate a hotel room, but I do not want the roses to bleed on the carpet or bed. I was planning on purchasing them at a florist. Should I just buy fake ones to be safe? Thanks!

Rose petals can bleed as they have moisture in them but they would need to be crushed or trod into the carpet for this to happen.

Freeze-dried petals don't stain as there is no mositure in them and they also don't wilt plus they keep their scent. People use these for weddings etc so try looking on the web for some or ebay. Confetti.co.uk have some on sale in their online wedding shop.

Why not play on the safe side and run a nice bath with candles and put the petals in there...
Reply:yes always use rose petal or flowers that are fake.....don't you think about the plants life?..................I have been..............thes roses were once alive and well.............until people picked them from their branches................honestly........... cool ...........................alive is alive............we should not harm any plants or flowersz!!!
Reply:No they will not bleed unless you actually rub them onto something. REAL rose petals are better in your situation as they smell really nice and are very soft. I personally think the fake ones are very tacky.
